I will push through to the other side, and finish what is before me.
On Tuesday I began to write, write, write. It is Thursday and I am still writing. This week is not a week of working on my book. Instead it is a week of writing copy for promotion. We live in a world that as writers we are required to do much of our own copy and promotion.
I have written to you in the past that my writing consists of blogs, books, conferences, workshops, and social media writing. This week my head is spinning with copy, and it is all necessary. I decided to expanded Relationships of the Heart.
This requires money, so along with my piles of writing requirements is writing copy for crowdfunding. Below I share 2 of my links to check them out. Along with the unfolding of my new website.
As I write this to you, my first thought is I long to set all of what I write above aside, and work on my book. In reality this is not going to happen. Instead I will push through to the other side, and finish what is before me. Then I will jump back into the community book writing.
Keep writing my friends. It is best to remind ourselves even if we are lifetime writers, there is more to life than sitting by ourselves and writing. People are important, it’s a constant challenge to find the balance, but it is important. If you feel like you are hitting a wall, take smaller steps forward and continue on.

If you are interested it would be great if you would encourage me, by giving any amount. In fact Crowding funding #2, allows you to give a minimum of $1.00. Drop in the amount that is the price of a coffee, or a fast food lunch. It will encourage this Life Time Writer as she forges ahead.
On Friday afternoon I dived into my memoir writing. I began with a few rambling notes. Then I moved to a rough draft introduction, and finally into chapter titles.
This version is my rough, rough, draft. It is the place where I lay aside perfect grammar, and perfect punctuation. It is the place where I allow whatever begins to flow from this section of my life to flow.
I moved from typing in my office, to the deck outside my door, to writing in cursive. I love to sit outside, with no shoes, dressed in comfy clothes, with sheets of paper, pens and highlighters in front of me.
The place I love, the place I find peace, the place of no perfection. Only my thoughts of my past and my current life.
The place of memoir. The place of admitting, this is my 3rd book, and it possibly will change my life and the life of others once it is available to the public.
Memoir, a story of a life turned inside out for all to see.
“A woman who is determined to enjoy life, no matter what comes her way.”
I sent my book in for formatting and received the digital copy. The challenges of self publishing! My cover, (which I love) is not the correct dpi for printing.
If you are not familiar with this term it means when the paperback copy is printed it is highly possible my cover photo will not be clear.
It is a bit frustrating, because I am unable to change this cover to fit the correct parameters.
BUT as writers, we do not give up, correct? People who do not write, stand on the outside and eventually see the finished product, but they do not realize the many hours of focused work required for the book to become a finished product.
BUT to non-writers this is ok, because this is part of what we do as writers. We may become frustrated, a little angry or discouraged, but a true writer, may take a break, but we do not stop writing.
To my writing friends, when you hit any type of wall, take a short break, go for a walk, or maybe you simply need a little rest. A time will arrive when the writing project is finished and it is now in the hands of your readers.
